How I was born

June 25th, 2008 by Chris

My mum found out that she was pregnant, then a couple of months later when she felt really fat she got a strange feeling in her body she said to my dad “I think he’s ready”. So my dad helped her to the car and they set off to Peterbourgh hospital. When they got there they put my mum on a special bed and there were lots of nurses and doctors oh and my dad. The nurses and the doctor told her to relax, but then the pain started. NO! she wasn’t going for a poo she was having me. But there was a problem the umbilical cord  was strangling me, but the nurses soon sorted that out. They got it off me and I popped out, but I was all brown “oh” said the nurse “he’s done a poo”.

 My diary

The 3rd of May1944.

Dear diary something terrible has just happened, me and Thomas were behind the wall trying to catch out the Germans but they sort of caught out me and Tom. It was like this, Tom went to look round the wall when he suddenly fell back! I quickly ran to see if he was alright but there were still some Germans there I threw a grenade at them that made them run. I picked Tom up. cradled him in my arms and he said thank you. Then he flopped down into my arms and that was that. I knew I had one more thing to look forword to, because when I get back I promised my girlfrend that I will marry her when I get back.

The 9th of Febuary1947.

This is the happiest day of my life!!!!!! because I’ve just got married, The place we stayed at afterwords was like a palace. Wow I’ve just had a feeling that I am complete!

 The 10th of March 1987

Not again!

My wife came down with cancer then a couple of days ago she died. That feeling of completeness has gone now, for once in my life I feel alone.

The 1st of January 2000

What a great day! It was a millenium, my grandson came up to stay, I gave him my old hobbie horse and he was going all aroud the house riding and riding, then he played the piano with me.My be my life isn’t that bad!

This is about a film that we watched in literacy. Mrs Stott told us to pretend that we were that man in the film and write a diary about it.
